Another package arrived on my doorstep yesterday addressed to “Ms. Mousie” and contained all sorts of SAFF goodness from Claudia & La (thanks y’all!!) of JenLa. The beads are skull heads.. which are definitely going in my hair as soon as I get a chance to put a few more braids in - and the fiber is alpaca/silk that is SO soft and squishy.. not to mention that it smells amazing. Yes.. I sniff fiber. The yarn is marked “MissBabs” in TN - and is 350 yards of fingering weight wool.. that is also.. very soft and squishy. I’m seeing a shawl or scarf from that.. definitely. The bear is on top of my computer right now.. I absolutely love him!!
Its absolutely POURING down rain right now and its early dismissal both today and tomorrow at Munchkin’s school because of parent/teacher conferences. The husband is going tomorrow to meet with Munchkin’s teacher.. I have to stay home because they do NOT want the children attending the conferences.. no matter what the reason. I hate to tell them that some of us don’t have access to family members and babysitters at the drop of a hat! Looks like I’m in for a nice soggy walk to the bus stop this afternoon.. wheee!
