I figured out what was wrong with my time stamp.. apparently my blog options were set to the wrong time zone! I was -4 hours instead of -5 hours from their “standard time”… its all fixed now I hope!
Today I met up with some of the ATL bloggers at Peachtree Handspinners Guild for a “Social Spin”.. and then some lunch. I didn’t bring either of my wheels but I did learn something new.. Hockey Mom/Sandy taught me how to knit “magic loop” with a circular needle (psst.. your yarn and needle are still in my purse!) and Jen, Claudia & Pixie did a lot of spinning! Jane was knitting another Christmas sock & Janice was working on yet another gorgeous lace shawl..
We had a great lunch at a restaurant that I can’t remember the name of at the moment.. and I ate entirely too much bavarian pretzels with homemade mustard (with the mustard seeds.. yum! Interesting too because I actually HATE store bought mustard) and “Pierogi Primavera”..
Jen, Pixie & Claudia were nice enough to take me far out of their way so that I would get home safely and I appreciate it greatly! I’ve spent the rest of the night bloating on the sofa in front of the television with my husband and am now going to crawl into bed. I’ll update this post tomorrow with links and a photo or two.. but right now I’m going to take my overstuffed tummy and go to bed! (11:09pm)
