I’m really glad that there are only a few more days left of NaBloPoMo because this is absolutely killing me to post every day. I’m completely exhausted today after spending all day yesterday with the inlaws at various houses for other thanksgiving meals… it was fun but tiring.
I forgot to write up my review of “Happy Feet” after we went to the theater so I’ll just add it in todays post. I really did like the movie.. thought the animation was amazing and the scenery was gorgeous. I’d definitely recommend it to people with small children because there was no violence to speak of and nothing got eaten or killed.. and most of the jokes were pretty tame. It kept my 5 1/2 year old son’s interest as well as my own through the whole movie and had a few really good jokes for the adults. All in all it was a fun trip to the theater.. and I can see why the movie is getting such high reviews.
Now that the HP scarf is off the needles.. I’m moving on to some of my other UFOs. I do work on the Mountain Colors Clapotis at night for a few rows at a time.. but I’m pretty sure that its going to take quite a while to finish it. I’m too far now to frog it and I love how the drape and colors are turning out.. but its going to take forever.
I’ve got my holiday knitting list down to 4 items - two of which need to be finished before Hannukah so that they can get mailed in time. I’m looking at a pair of Fuzzy Feet, a cabled hat, a 2 year old sized sweater, and a scarf… It sounds do-able. I think.
