About a week ago I entered a contest over at My Paper Crane and won this cool “mail love” package - Munchkin claimed almost the entire package for himself except for the strawberry lip gloss and the postcard. Earlier today I was greeted at the door by a huge white dog (with no collar) that apparently had escaped from a nearby home. You can see that my cat was completely unthrilled by its presence at the door. This was the scene at the top of the steps where the cat camped out until the dog left.. she was thumping her tail against the floor so hard it sounded like a man stomping his feet. She has this look like she’s saying ” I don’t know if you realize this.. but there is an ugly, stupid, 4 legged white thing outside that is CLEARLY not a cat. I’m very disgusted that its here and I’m afraid of what the neighborhood cats might say about me if they see it hanging around our door all drooling with its tongue hanging out. Why DID you give that horrid beast water? Mom.. I’m not sure I know you anymore.”
By the time I got back home from getting Munchkin off the bus he had disappeared… I hope he made it home safe to his family and is getting lots of love and hugs tonight.
